I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
I've got Christ's heart, and He's got mine. I'm turning seventeen September 23rd. REMEMBR THAT DATE, ;) My friends, family, boyfriend, and pets mean the world to me. I'm a small girl with a huge heart, and a mind that's constantly overflowing. I strive for perfection, but let me tell ya', I'm not even 1/4 of the way to being perfect!

Well guess what? I’m sick of it too. But if you all hate it so much stop following those who annoy you. seriously.
Just stop complaining and DO something yourselves. Stop the whining, and bickering, and just be adults about it.
You are the ones being petty, if you bitch about it, yet continue to follow them.
In all actuality that obviously means YOU like the drama.
I agree with you, bestifriend. I.freaking.love.you.so.much.

I was extremely worried about the propane tank on fire, but all in all, everything turned out fine! So basically, I just had a nice rush of fear for awhile throughout the day, and I absolutely LOVE that feeling.
I’m glad everyone and everything is safe.
God was definitely in Norfolk, NE today!
Now I’m getting my homework done and going to eat so I can attend the Wrestling meet at 6:30 with my babe!
Hope everyone else is having an amazing day!
you have a babe?

I would rather discuss God over any other petty, wordly thing. Thanks for the conversation. My least favorite sin is when people judge without understanding what is truly going on with the person. Different sins are harder to deal with for different people. They are all sins. No one is less of a Christian because they commit a different sin than another, even if it may seem more controllable. We’re all filthy creatures in our own sinful ways. God despises every sin the same amount, and He loves every person the same amount. Instead of talking down a specific burden that people are facing, let’s encourage each other.I completely agree that one should avoid sin. It is my biggest pet peeve that when a person does except Christ he is expected to be “Christ himself”. Of course you should try to steer clear of things that would draw you away from God, but this is an ongoing process. The thing that bothers me is when pastors or anyone that shows their love for God sins they are seen as a false, fake christian. I just wanted to point out that this falling away we all experience is what makes us a Christian. There are going to be times where you will be weak and cannot refrain from the sin you are facing, whether it be adultry or simply judging another Christian. The on-going forgiveness Jesus gives us is an example of our glorious Fathers love. There are too many sins that we all face to avoid every one. We should love the “whores” and low-lifes and lead them to His kingdom, instead of pushing them farther by telling them their sin is worse than yours. If we were able to hold every commandment God gave us, we would have no need for a Savior. Christians are broken. That is why we trust in Jesus because he rid us of a sin. If we were to be good and do everything God asks of us, we would not sin and we would not need Jesus. The broken people who have sinned are the people that Jesus loves. You are not able to follow every rule in the bible. You only need to love Jesus with what broken mess you are.
I agree with you, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try not to sin. You can just go around sinning and have it in your head that it’s okay because you love God and God loves you. Don’t look at yourself as a completely broken mess. Look at yourself as something created beautifully, and strive for perfection even though you know you’ll never be able to get there. Be the best you can be, and try hard to avoid sin. We were made in His image.
I’m not saying that we’re expected to be Christ himself, all I said was we were made in His image, and we should try hard to live up to it. We’re perfectly capable of deciding what’s wrong and what’s good. And I personally, do love absolutely everyone. I just dislike it when someone has the choice whether or not to approach or walk away from something wrong, and instead of thinking about how their actions may affect others, they go for anyways..Only caring about their own selfish desires. THEN, when they know they’ve done something wrong…Instead of asking for forgiveness and trying hard not to repeat that sin, they do it again, and again. You stated that Christians aren’t good people. I totally disagree. I see soo much good in sooo many Christians. You can’t just sin, apologize, repeat the same sin, apologize, and keep repeating the sequence. That’s just taking advantage of the Lord’s love for us. For example, cheating is one of my greatest disliked sins. I find it extremely selfish. I hate it when people cheat on someone, because the cheaters are aware ahead of time of what they’re getting themselves into. We should RESPECT our brothers and sisters, not shove their feelings aside and do stupid things that hurt them quite badly..just so YOU can be pleased. It sickens me, a lot.
It bugs me when somebody knows that they’ve done something wrong..and does everything in their power to make it look like it shouldn’t matter to people. When they sit there and use God against those who are upset with what they’ve done, and tell them that what they’ve done isn’t all that bad because they love God and we just need to accept the fact that we’re filthy creatures. At least I take blame for my sins. If I do something I know is wrong, I don’t try making it seem better than it really is. I apologize for acting without putting God first, and then I try to refrain from it. And I agree, we should all encourage each other..So I encourage you, sister, to think of our other brothers’ and sisters’ feelings and put them before your own sometime. I haven’t meant for any part of this conversation to cause drama, of any sort. I just had a different view upon some things, and therefore, I shared my views. I respect your views, and I hope the same for you. Have a nice snow day!
No, thank you!
